鑑定Identification
世界上每一種寶石都有其獨特的美麗、稀有和特性。寶石鑑定是對寶石的化學性質和特徵結構進行觀察和測試的過程。這個過程需要寶石學的程序和訓練有素的眼睛。
According to the Beauty; Rarity & Durability characteristics, identification is the key factor to confirm these gemstone characteristics by physical, chemical & optical properties. All these depend on gemological knowledge and training in laboratory operation.

估值Appraisal
在訴訟支援或專家證人作證時，需要專業珠寶鑑定估値學家的專家證供。寶石估値學在涉及鑽石、彩色寶石、手錶和高級珠寶的訴訟案件中用關建證供，提供法庭判案價値高低，案情嚴重資料依據。受過專業訓練的鑑定估値師具有專業知識，能夠以一種不帶偏見的法證意見，以幫助法庭達成公平的裁決。
Topup with Identification operation, jewelry & watch appraisal relies on gemstone, precious metal and diamond quality grading technique and market price structure knowledge. In special cases, appraisal requires auditing skill, court testimony knowledge and unbiased forensic opinion.

拍賣Auction
拍賣主要對象是收藏者或消費者。他們如需變賣收藏的珠寶，專業珠寶鑑定估値學家可以提供有效時差增值估値證明，從而達至公平買賣，合理拍賣。如果法律要求現金清算，也以最佳市場價格，達至最佳現金回報。
When collectors or consumers need their jewelry liquidation, prestige auction houses e.g. Christie, Sotheby, Heritage, Bonham, Guardian, Polyauction, Tokyo… are their best sources. Generally jewelry will gain value after years of collection though there are some instances, liquidation force sales are commanded by legal action.

諮詢Consultaion
諮詢可以分為不同的領域：鑑定諮詢、法醫諮詢、ISO 17025體系諮詢、珠寶製造成本諮詢、寶石切割諮詢。
Knowledge domain: Identification, appraisal, forensic consultations. ISO 17025 laboratory operation requirement. Jewelry & watch manufacturing and cost knowledge. Gemstone cutting and grading knowledge.
鑽石諮詢 Diamond Grading:
一顆鑽石的價格是基於被稱為「4C」的特徵。淨度(Clarity)、顏色(Colour) 和切工(比例, （Cut Proportion)及克拉重量(Carat Weight) 一起決定鑽石價值的質量要素。鑽石分級越靠近完美尺度，其稀有性和成本就會越高。雖然清晰度經常被認為是所有“C”中最重要的，但事實上，顏色和切工（尤其是切工）對鑽石的視覺外觀有更深遠的影響。
Diamond Grading depends on trained technique on Color, Clarity, Cutting & Carat determination. The more higher grades in these factors, the more Beauty, Rarity and Durability it fetches. Though Color and Clarity contribute more to its beauty, Cutting is directly relate to the cost of the diamond in its price structure.
